Sealed in the Temple

On Saturday September 14th I was sealed to my parents in the Seattle Temple.  I am now connected to my ancestors.  Ever since I was sealed to my lovely wife Lois 35 years ago, I have been blessed with the blessings of the temple sealing. I have always known that I have an eternal family - my wife and Children.  But there was always something missing.  I was not connected to my parents and siblings.  My father passed away about a year ago.  My mother went to the temple for the first time several months ago. So on the 14th, I performed the work for my Father and my brother Paul was the proxy for my older brother Mark. Mark passed away three years ago due to the affects of throat cancer.  I represented my Father for my parents sealing.  My son Eric represented my father when my younger brother Paul and I were sealed to our parents.  It was a very fulfilling and satisfying day.      

New Meeker Granddaughter

Our son Eric and his wife Kathryn had a daughter named Anna Elizabeth Meeker born 24th August 2013.  She is a beautiful little girl.  She was 8 pounds 15 ounces and 19-1/2 inches long.   Anna joins her sister Lily and brother Evan in their home in Issaquah Washington.  This new granddaughter makes 6 Meeker granddaughters and only 1 grandson.
